Business Planning and Strategies – 2016

What are your business plans for FY 2016?  Have you set some time aside to plan out what you will be doing next year?  No?  Don’t feel like the Lone Ranger.  Most people don’t even think about it until about halfway through the year.

 

Planning your day is a drudge.  Planning your week is a bigger drudge and planning your year, well, it just downright stinks.  You probably don’t want to think about next week much less next year but you HAVE to if you want to grow your business.

Where do you end up if you don’t plan?  Nowhere.  Is that where you want to live year after year or do you want to have a solid plan to grow your income?

I choose the second plan.  I want to know what I will be working on all year so I plan a roadmap of where I want to be by the end of the year.

Let me explain a little bit further as to how I plan to grow each one.  I am going to list the general ideas here and I can always add or delete later down the road according to how my business year is flowing.

The main concept is to HAVE  a plan!  You can’t grow your business without one.  I don’t know of a single corporation that flourished without having a business plan.  What makes you think you can?  That’s called “flying by the seat of your pants.”

I plan on adding a lot more PLR articles, product review packs, ebook/article packs and standalone article packs. 

I will, of course, be adding the large “Biz-in-a-Box” bundles as I can because they entail quite a bit of work.  I am planning on adding one of those every couple of months.

I am going to blog more by adding current, relative content.  And, since I changed my site over to a secure, dedicated IP that task is FINALLY off my list.

Growing my list.  This is a top priority.

I am going to add some small “how-to” mini-courses for those of you who need help in setting up things such as a website, a blog or other items.

Affiliate Marketing

I try to find products that will fit nicely with the PLR market.  They may not always be what you are looking for but a lot of people like to enhance their PLR business by trying new products. 

I also like to find PLR for you in a variety of subjects.  Some of these PLR packs include some nice bonuses so take advantage of any of the packs that fit in nicely with your business.

Author/Publishing Books

I LOVE writing!  I have been working on some non-fiction as well as fiction books in the background.  I like to write crime/mystery and young adult historical fiction.

I bought an author theme and am working on getting that set up and updated on my site:  DianneHumphries.com so that as I publish a book visitors can buy via my site or Amazon.com. I will also be talking about the process from A-Z as to how to get published for any aspiring writers out there 🙂

I love reading in my spare time.  (Spare time?!?)  lol  You know what I mean.  If I have down time on a trip, on the boat or even at a doctor’s appointment, I like to read.

One of the books I wanted to read from my Bucket List was the Bible.  I know. I know.  Some of you aren’t into that.  Read your choice of religious choosing or not.  But this is something I ALWAYS wanted to do.

I am up to the book:  2 Kings.  I have a Bible that has the written word and then it explains it below in plain English for us lay folks.  lol  It is really fascinating to see what happened back then and what is going on in today’s society.  Actually, it’s rather scary.

Education/Learning.

I am an avid learner.  I never stop learning new methods, techniques, tips.  I love trying new products if they seem to fit within my scope of work.  Some things fit right in and others not so much.

The point here is to NEVER stop learning.  Technology changes so quickly if you don’t keep up you get left behind.

And, I love learning from those before me.  Why reinvent the wheel when there are those who are successful and forged the way forward for the rest of us?
